A day among vineyards, landscapes and Madeiran flavours
E The experience begins in the southwest of the island, in the picturesque village of Câmara de Lobos. Here, you will be welcomed by a Madeira wine producer and their family at an estate where, alongside the vineyards, various fruit trees, vegetables and flowers are cultivated. This first stop features a white wine of great freshness, acidity and tropical aromas, considered among the best in the archipelago, as well as a tasting of rosé and red wine.
The journey continues to the northwest coast, in São Vicente, the island’s second-largest grape-producing region. Surrounded by breathtaking landscapes, you will explore some of the world’s most unique historic vineyards, shaped by the island’s geography and Atlantic climate.
At the heart of this Madeira wine experience, there will be the opportunity to enjoy a typical lunch prepared with local ingredients and traditional recipes.
On the return to Funchal, the tour concludes with a visit to a producer representing the more contemporary side of Madeira wine. Tasting vintages from different years, each sip is a testament to the longevity and complexity that have made this wine a treasured heritage of both the island and the world.

"HIGHLY RECOMMEND….Wine day Tour & Lunch in the vineyard was a perfect 10. Our guide Ana was very informative, pleasant and fun. She is very knowledgeable about plants and wine as well as her home Madeira. We sampled many wonderful wines at 3 different wineries. Espetada (grill meat on a skewer) potatoes, salad, bread and passion fruit dessert was served for lunch along with - you guessed it more great wine, finishing the meal off with some Madeira wine. It was a wonderful day…"
